With the deep transformation of the automobile technology base with AI technology, Zhiji Automobile will focus on "loyal to users" through the three fulcrums of software and hardware architecture, large-scale intelligent algorithm and intelligent scene experience.
In the same period, Zhiji Automobile took the lead in launching the mass production of leading intelligent technologies such as VMC central coordinated motion controller, all Linux kernel cabin driving fusion system and D.L.P artificial intelligence model. And in the next two to three years, through four models, we will focus on the creative intelligent scene experience.

Tamia Liu: The core of all brands in the Shanghai Auto Show Pavilion has undergone a complete transformation in three years. Just like intelligent driving with lidar as the sensing unit, everyone said three years ago that it was impossible to mass-produce low-beam lidar without three to five years, and by the end of 2020, a large number of lidar had been mass-produced.
In fact, the difference between us and other brands is that we do it very early. When L7 was developed in 2021, we made a forward-looking decision to turn seven Models into one model. At the same time, in order to mass-produce large models, even if Xavier has only 30Tops of OPS computing power, it is necessary to make the best high-order assistance. Now it sounds very popular, and Zhiji has been mass-produced at the end of 2021.
The real intelligent driving is a matrix multiplied by five Part. Whether it is perception, fusion, prediction, planning and control, one link cannot be missing. The real bottleneck lies inPlanning. As a head company, Zhiji wants to chew this hard bone down.The release of D.L.P is to solve the Planning module in the whole process of Data-Driven, and it is currently in the process of large-scale data internal testing. Zhiji thinks that the end point of intelligent driving must be to move towards a more advanced intelligent driving, and it must be in the direction of L3 or L4, but it needs a period of evolution.
Q:Zhiji has a strategic cooperation with Zebra Zhixing. Can you introduce it?
Tamia Liu: We have cooperated deeply with Zebra since we started to build the intelligent cockpit IM OS, and we hope to have deeper cooperation in the future. The cooperation in the past two years is the only operating system independently developed based on Linux in China?
Although our IM OS seems to have three screens, it is actually a canvas behind it based on Linux. It can break the physical layer limitation, and a function can appear in multiple screens. We believe that blind exercise is not that I can not watch the operation, but that I can operate accurately. Cross-domain integration like this, integration in the screen, we are natural. Also using the 8155 chip, we can experience that even if others have fewer screens than us, our performance will be better than others. This is because we benefit from the development of Zebra Zhixing based on Linux, which is only on the cockpit interface, and the cross-domain integration of the whole vehicle can also be done based on the lowest level of open source.
Q:Under the trend of going to high-precision maps, how can Zhiji ensure the consistency of functional experience in all scenarios?
Tamia Liu: We think that in a period of time, the "re-map" scheme and the "re-perception light map" scheme should be parallel. On the road section with high-precision map, under the condition of ensuring the freshness of the map, using high-precision map will bring better experience; When there is no high-precision map, the road network information can be predicted by DDLD to obtain a lighter map with higher freshness, which can bring users functional experiences including automatic lane change, lane selection, automatic overtaking, automatic left turn and right turn on urban NOA.
Q: What are the goals of Zhiji’s intelligent system in terms of high-speed and urban pilot takeover rate? What are the advantages at present?
Tamia Liu: Let me expand Zhiji’s concept of intelligent driving scene or intelligent driving technology development.
First, intelligent driving is technology-driven, which everyone agrees with, including the applications of big models such as BEV that already exist in the market, and the recently popular ChatGPT, 175 billion parameters and so on in the natural language environment.
Second, the product itself should have temperature. Product design with temperature is the productization direction that we make by communicating with front-line users and listening to their opinions extensively.
Third, we believe that technology must have temperature. Intelligent driving is not a simple stunt, but a more relaxed intelligent driving environment. Through the way of D.L.P just released, through in-depth analysis of the natural driving behavior of thousands of drivers, this car is more like a person and makes you more willing to drive. This is Zhiji’s intelligent driving concept.
We have really done more than 5,000 kilometers of benchmarking. Through the benchmarking of big data, our success rate has reached more than 95%. We are still relatively confident in the industry. At present, the takeover rate of 100 kilometers can reach less than once.
Q:Now that the automobile industry is ranked in weekly sales volume, I would like to ask Zhiji what the sales target is this year? What kind of product matrix will be formed between the C and D cars to be released this year and next year and the current products?
Tamia Liu: The delivery volume of Zhiji LS7 showed a very good trend of unilateral increase, ranking first in the SUV with more than 300,000 in the first week of April. Next, as the production capacity continues to increase, the delivery volume will further increase. At present, it has gained a firm foothold in more than 300 thousand market segments. The sales target for this year is 45,000 units, and our team is very confident about it.
In addition, in the second half of the year, we will also release the third car (C car), which is an urban cross-border SUV, directly targeting Model Y regardless of its size or price segment. Car D will be released in the first half of next year, directly PK Model 3, and the intelligent cockpit will take the lead in applying Qualcomm 8295 chip.
The AI4M intelligent strategy released today will have a good application and display in C and D cars, and the intelligent technology reserve of cross-domain integration will be better applied in E and F cars. This is not only a technical idea, we hope that these technologies can empower and reconstruct the interior space and scenes, and really give users a better experience, instead of just showing off their muscles.
Q:Outside the L7 and LS7 cars., will there be?New product features and product labels appear?
Tamia Liu: From the perspective of innovation, L7 "Driving and controlling the ceiling in the smart world" is a very clear label; LS7′ s super dome and all-star driving chassis once again put the label up. Adhering to the ultimate driving control is Zhiji’s understanding of chassis and mechanical quality, because experience can be OTA, but life can’t be OTA, so whether it is C car, D car, E car or F car, we will stick to it.
The overall innovation strategy of Zhiji Automobile has two very big landing directions. The first is vehicle motion control, which is based on intelligent, intelligent and all-round control of digital chassis in the next six degrees of freedom. This experience is the best in the whole industry, which is our very obvious label. Another plate we call IM GO! . In particular, the AI4M released today can open up the capabilities of intelligent cockpit, intelligent driving and intelligent chassis across domains, and truly empower the whole vehicle with intelligent capabilities like people.

Tamia Liu: The expression of our brand attitude is three "No’s", no limit, no compromise and no conformity.
Tang Wei’s role is very diverse, and he can control all kinds of roles. Uncompromising, Tang Wei’s requirements for cars are extremely high. Before deciding to choose Zhiji, she studied this car for a long time and asked us many questions. She not only knows the function of the car, but also asks how to recycle the battery and whether it is really helpful for energy saving, emission reduction and carbon neutrality.
If she doesn’t go with the flow, her role and personality will never follow suit, and she won’t follow the fashion easily, just as we won’t pile up hardware easily. We can make the best IM AD Pilot with 30Tops. Today, we use two lidar and 254Tops Orin, and we can definitely make NOA with more computing power than others’ three lidar plus more than 500Tops. This is our confidence and ability. This is not by piling up, not by following someone else’s plan, which is basically a dead end. We really have rewritten 65% of the underlying software, so we can say that the hardware capability and software are fully integrated and deeply connected, and you know this is the only solution. When you face the future era, if you only make a body like the previous gasoline car era, braking, steering, ESP, CDC and suspension will all be handed over to suppliers. Basically, I think this road will not work, and you must get through it on your own. This is why the vehicle control system, All in Linux, and VMC should be considered.
