Lian Wei realized that to really help villagers get rid of poverty and get rich, industry is a "cash cow" to increase income and get rich. After arriving in Ziba Village, Weigan Township, Lushui City, Nujiang Prefecture, he took project support as the main means, connected with the poverty identification results, carried out planting experiments of animal husbandry grass, bitter buckwheat and millet spicy according to the conditions of people and households, and planted 18 high-quality and high-yield animal husbandry and forage grass varieties such as Leguminosae, Compositae and Gramineae.
In the open space of Ziba village, a demonstration field of science and technology was opened and trial planting began. Lian Wei cultivated land, sowed seeds, watered, weeded and recorded, and did everything with his heart. By June 2017, 20 villagers had been mobilized to carry out field trial planting of forage grass, provided 50 kilograms of seeds, invested more than 5,000 yuan, and built more than 20 mu of demonstration fields for forage grass planting in various areas of Ziba Village.

Accurately "scan" every poor household
It is necessary to combine "blood transfusion" with "hematopoiesis" in order to help the poor people in rural areas get rid of poverty as scheduled. Lian Wei gave full play to the fine style of soldiers, commanded from the front, stationed in the village, sank his heart, really helped the poor, exchanged his heart for the people’s hearts, and changed "blood transfusion" into "hematopoiesis".
From the thick diary he recorded, it can be seen that he started from accurately "scanning" the situation of each poor household, to making policies according to local conditions and households, and fought on the front line every day, and made the military order to get rid of poverty clear to every day, every household, every item and everyone in every action. It is the foundation to investigate people’s feelings at home. At present, he has visited 285 households in the village and identified them by setting up a file. He coordinated the participation of all 37 leading cadres of the company’s headquarters and its subordinate units in Yunnan, and issued 37 contact cards for helping households to "hang bags and help" poor households, and the task force kept 37 cards. By the end of 2016, 50 out of 285 households in the village had got rid of 150 people.

Since joining the poverty alleviation task force, Lian Wei has fulfilled the promise that "poverty alleviation must be supported by ideas". He devoted all his time and love to the fight against poverty.
The Wa villages in Ximeng Wa Autonomous County are uneven, especially at night, the whole village does not have a street lamp, relying on flashlights, and villagers are often injured. Lian Wei sees it in his eyes, is anxious in his heart, and makes up his mind that this problem must be solved. After coordination by many parties, on November 3, 2013, 20 solar lamps donated by Huadian Yunnan Company to Zhongke Village Committee in Zhongke Township, Ximeng County were installed. It has solved the problem that the village has no public lighting at night.
The 83-year-old villager from party member, an old communist, has been suffering from insomnia, helplessness and difficulties. Since Lian Wei came to this village, he has visited the old man whenever he has time. He treats the old man as his father. So far, when it comes to Lian Wei, the old man will shed tears excitedly and give a thumbs-up and say, Lian Wei is great. He is better than my own son.
Poverty alleviation is related to the well-being of the people and the overall situation of building a well-off society in an all-round way.
